For longer rides with a saw I usually take the bar off, then it sits a lot lower and whacks the helmet less. Just takes a moment to put it back on, and makes sure you don't forget the scrench :)

@raceface: is this only on sales since the policy change? I've got a set of 2021 Turbine-R35 rims and the rear has a pretty substantial flat spot. They're still holding air for now, but hardtails are tough on rear wheels :)

Mod Bike Seeking Rider
$250 CADWhite Echo mod bike, not sure of the year but over 10. Good starter trials bike, or conversation-starter commuter ;)
It been gathering dust l since I moved to pedaling distance of the trails, so off to a new home it must go!
Small cosmetic dent in the downtube, I rode it that way for years so no concerns about strength but it means you can get a cheaper bike and not stress out about the next dent!
Otherwise all in good condition - wheels true, front freewheel smooth, brakes solid. It has a cable disk on the front wheel but also have a Magura hydraulic disc brake - take either or both.
I’m 6’ but the bike would probably suit a shorter rider better.
