First Ride: The 170mm Specialized Levo 4 EVO
@bigtuna00: I'm with you.. Traded a Levo for a 160/170 Levo SL (with cascade link). It rides like a regular bike and it's much more fun!

First Ride: Devinci's New Made-in-Canada E-Spartan Lite
different people will want different bikes.. I also went from a turbo Levo full power to a SL, because it feels much more like a regular bike on the way down, and it's much more fun to ride (guess what? it also has short chainstays!) It's not for everybody though.. I have the chance to be able to ride straight out of my house after work, and like to go out for about 2hrs during the week, which means I don't mind a smaller battery. The bike also rides very well without motor assistance (zero drag when off), so no matter what, I know I can make it back home.. I'm not the lightest rider, but I'm not big (170lbs), and weight makes a big difference in battery range. My gf at 120lbs defintely don't need a full power bike.. For me the SL lacks just a little bit of power, but more than make up for it on the way down. And still lets me do twice the amount of laps that I would do on a regular bike in the same amount of time. The full Levo honestly has a stupid amount of power, you would only ride in turbo mode on the roads/doubletrack, and go down to trail mode on twitchy/steep singletrack.. What good is all that power/battery if I'm coming back home with 45% battery left? For the weekend, if I'm not doing a short ride, I'm going bikepark/shuttling, or doing an epic where ebikes are not allowed. So there you go, here is the type of person that don't want a full powered e bike..

Specialized Turbo Levo

$6200 CAD
Lightly ridden 2024 ebike in ride wrap. Specialized sizing is S4, which is roughly equivalent to a large in other brands. https://www.outdoorgearlab.com/reviews/biking/electric-mountain-bike/specialized-turbo-levo-comp-alloy Mostly stock, but comes with better brakes (Magura MT7 instead of Codes), and SWAT tool in steerer tube. 175mm X-Fusion dropper post can be swapped for a nearly new 210mm One up V3 dropper for an additional 200$.

Forbidden Announces DJI-Powered Druid eMTB Lineup
Looks so good! Dream bike for me in a lot of aspects. Currently on longer travel druid v1 (ziggy+cascade link), which is an impossibly good bike! This LitE version would be perfect for after work laps... My '24 Levo is just not as much fun on the way down as the druid, mostly due to weight. Well done, Those will likely fly off the shelves! Only problem is I don't see how I could afford one at the moment at 12k starting price..
