TRP Introduces Evo Pro Anniversary Edition Brakes
Had they labeled these "420" instead of "402", it may have encouraged some individuals to purchase a set despite their horrendous caliper leak. A swing and a miss.

Sep 2, 2023Custom Kona Unit - Price Drop
$700 CADFor sale is this custom built Kona Unit with an 18 inch frame. I built it up for my father, but he has decided he would like an e-bike so this one has to go. It's designed to be a capable, low-maintenance, do-it-all bike. The frame is made of hig-end, Deda chromoly tubing. The RockShox suspension fork was just rebuilt and has a remote lockout switch on the handlebar. The internally geared Shimano 7 speed hub has just been overhauled and is working flawlessly.
This bike has many brand new parts, including:
New brake levers
New brake calipers
New brake pads
New brake rotors
New brake cables and housing
New shifter
New shift cables and housing
New chain
New front tire
New tubes
New pedals
New ergonomic grips
New comfort saddle
This bike is very versatile, and were it not too small for me, I'd keep it for myself as the ultimate commuter bike. It would also be great for bikepacking, or even some light mountain biking.
Reach out with any questions, or if you'd like to take it for a test ride.
Price dropped from $850 to $700

Aug 10, 2023Custom Kona Unit - Large - Price Drop
$1900 CADAfter much deliberation, and with great sadness, I have decided to sell my wonderful Kona Unit.
I've owned this bike since new, and it has never let me down. Despite it being from 2018, it has seen little use due to the fact that I am a bicycle mechanic and tinkerer/bike hoarder and so I have too many bikes and too little time to ride them all.
Part of why I love this bike so much is the fact that it is just so versatile, and can be built up in many configurations. It has sliding dropouts in the rear and is non-boost spacing currently (I have a qr dropout for it, too). It has been 27.5 plus with drop bars, single speed 29er, mustache bar commuter bike, etc. Add a suspension fork and you have an absolute ripper of a hardtail. With the right amount of imagination, the options are virtually endless. This most recent iteration is for quick commuting and gravel riding, but add some bags and you'll be off bikepacking in no time.
I also have lots of bits and bobs for this bike, including extra hardware, bags, and even wheel sets if you're so inclined.
It was recently (~500 km ago) stripped down to the frame and rebuilt using all new parts.
The build is as follows:
2018 Kona unit frame (853 Reynolds steel, if you know, you know.)
Salsa Firestarter carbon fork w/eyelets
Wolftooth headset
Shimano Saint bottom bracket (ILOVEGOLD)
Raceface wheels
Maxxis Ikon tires in 29x2.6 (set up tubeless)
Shimano Deore brakes
1x11 Sram drivetrain with a grip-shifter (think you're too cool for grip shift? You're wrong. But I have a regular 11 speed shifter I can swap out if you can't handle it.)
Raceface Aeffect cranks with 36 tooth narrow-wide chainring paired to an 11-46 cassette
Trans-X dropper post
This bike is lightweight, fun, and built with durability and longevity in mind. I would love to keep it, but I'm in school and can't give it the use it deserves (plus I need the money for tuition). It's time for this large black unit to live between someone else's legs for a while. Think you're a worthy contender? Let's chat.
Price drop from $2500 to $1900, will ship at buyers expense

Oct 3, 2022Custom Kona Dew
$1000 CADFor sale is this custom built Kona Dew, size large. The frame is lightweight aluminum, while the fork is steel to allow for more compliance. The frame and fork have many braze-ons to accommodate racks and accessories. The bike was built from the frame up for my father with all new parts and has had very little use since being built, only about 300kms of riding in total.
The parts include:
WTB Horizon 650x47 tires
Shimano Alivio two piece cranks
Shimano sealed bearing external bottom bracket
9 speed Shimano drivetrain with 11-40 cassette and 36/22 tooth chainrings
Shimano hydraulic disk brakes
Custom metal fenders
Ergon cork ergonomic grips
This bike is very capable on and off road and the high volume tires offer a smooth and comfortable ride. It has been fully tuned up and is ready to ride. Asking $1000, can ship at buyers expense.

Oct 3, 2022Custom All-City Cosmic Stallion
$3200 CADFor sale is my custom built All-City Cosmic Stallion, size 55. This bike was meticulously built from the frame up with all new parts, including:
Raceface Aeffect wheelset
Raceface Turbine cranks with 40 tooth Wolftooth narrow/wide chainring
Sram rival 1x11 drivetrain with 10-42XD driver cassette
TRP Spyre brakes
Wolftooth headset and Raceface bottom bracket
Teravail Rampart 650x47 tires, set up tubeless
This bike is efficient, durable, and an absolute blast to ride. The parts spec was picked with these aspects in mind, and when paired with the ACE chromoly tubing and carbon Columbus fork, make for a sublime gravel experience.
The bike only has approximately 300km of riding time, but I am back in school and unfortunately need to sell it to help with costs.
Asking $3200, will ship at buyers expense

Hand built WTB rim to Shimano Deore XT rear hub

Eclypse cable actuated hydraulic disk brakes
