Review: The Outlier Metronome Self-Leveling Flat Pedal is Superior, & Frustrating
In the cleat placement article it seemed like all the PB editors ride clips. What is you riding ratio between clips & flats?

Bike Check: Dangerholm's Sub-20-Pound Scott Spark RC
@MTBorris: jumping is a wild feeling. With so little inertia and gyroscopic affect, it kinda feels like it's just your body jumping and the bike isn't even there. (owner of a 20lb Spark)

Air Bag Protectors Could Revolutionize Safety in Downhill Racing - Here's What We Know So Far
Ignoring appearance & comfort, purely focusing on protection: How does this compare to the best body armor jackets available? Is it not really meant to compete, rather be an option for the guy that's not gonna wear a full jacket cuz of the appearance & comfort? (I gotta admit, I no longer wear even my newest, slimmest jacket.)

The 27.5" Front Wheel Is Dead And I'm More OK With That Than I Ever Thought I Would Be

First Ride: Santa Cruz Updates the Blur - More Travel, More Weight, More Fun?
@rickybobby19: I've weighed 4 newTallboy frames and they're all over 2900g. That 2500 number is fantasy.

First Ride: Santa Cruz Updates the Blur - More Travel, More Weight, More Fun?
How to ensure your new XC bike doesn't sell: -Release it 3/4 of the way through the season so no one buys it this year and it's no longer the "new thing" next year. -Add weight while everyone else is trimming so the frame weighs nearly a pound more than the competition. -Spec heavy build kits so the total weight is a few pounds heavier than the competition. Santa Cruz nailed it!

@wreaman: you missunderstood what she said and what I said. Her statement is definitively wrong. I explained why.

The 27.5" Front Wheel Is Dead And I'm More OK With That Than I Ever Thought I Would Be
"the wheel doesn't care how tall you are, and the size of the bumps and holes on the trail certainly don't, either" Wrong. Your body's center of gravity, relative to the wheel's axle, relative to the point on the wheel that is contacting the bump ABSOLUTELY dictates how that impact affects the bicycle's motion. I thought that was obvious.

Gee Atherton Shares Hospital Update After Heavy Crash in Bolivia
This guy's spent more on hospital bills during his career than I've earned during the same time. I want to be able to throw caution to the wind but I just don't get how people afford it.
