Specialized Big Hit Grom - Excellent Shape
$900 CADUp for grabs is a 2013 Specialized Big Hit Grom full suspension kids Downhill Bike. I bought it brand new for my son in Oct 2013 and he only rode it for the 2014 season. He has hit a growth spurt and sadly for my wallet, needed a bigger bike for this year. Paid $1450 + tax for it. Maintenance done after every ride weekend. This bike is a killer on the hills and my kid absolutely loved it.

- Fusion X 02r Air shock
- Truvativ Crank
- SRAM x-7 rear derailer
- SRAM x-4 Shifter
- Avid adjustable mechanical disk brakes

T minus 3 days until Freeriders for Child Find Alberta begins! On line registration closes Thursday June 24 at midnight. We will be accepting new registration on the day of the race from 8am - 10:00 am; however there will be NO spot guarantee for those trying to registe day of.

I believe the trail is just over 2km but I will check with MMBTS to be sure. We will be marking the trail Friday afternoon for the race but it's a public trail so your welcome to ride it Friday. We do have a permit from SRD for the trail on Saturday, so only the alotted practice in the morning will be allowed. The race fee includes one shuttle for practice in the morning and one shuttle for the race in the afternoon.

The reason the word "Extreme" was used is to try and get the general publics attention. As this race is for a charity invovling children/youth usually anything that is "extreme" catches kids attention; if we get the kids attention and they want to come to the races then the parents will have to come also. The more people that attend means more attention for the charity and the sport.
