A video game for downhill fans: Downhill Pro Racer

"As a passionate mountain biker, I always had the dream to play a video game that gave me the heart-pounding rush of real MTB downhill. So I made one!"

Hey there, pinkbikers! I'm Germán, a die-hard mountain biker and an indie video game developer from Madrid, Spain.
Downhill Pro Racer is a personal project and a dream of mine that I have been developing for the better part of the last three years.

So what what sets Downhill Pro Racer apart from the sea of other games out there, you might be asking?
Here are some of the key points:

Controls that make you feel your bike
Downhill Pro Racer puts the control in your hands: Pedal, modulate your brakes with precision, do manuals, pull off bunny hops, or gap over those sketchy roots... you will be able to choose your line with a dedicated line editor to craft your perfect path. Then, it's all about riding it to the absolute edge.

Game Modes for Every Rider:
But not everything will be about pure racing: there is a “Bikepark mode” where you just choose a track and have fun riding it. There are currently 6 tracks to play, from flow lines to steep, technical tracks, and also some huge jump trails to practice your whips. Oh, and no pre-animated whips: real physics in the air will keep you stylish every time.

Features
While the game is still in development, the list of features currently includes:

• 6 tracks to choose from (more to follow)
• Realistic obstacles like slippery roots, rock gardens, wall rides, and gap jumps.
• A comprehensive tutorial mode to master the controls.
• A line editor that lets you fine-tune your line, while you focus on nailing those jumps, balancing, and keeping that speed in check.
• A replay mode so you can capture your sickest moves and share them with our community!

Epic Features Await (In-development)
• New mountain locations will be added in the future, each with multiple tracks, including iconic spots in France, Italy, USA, Canada, UK, and New Zealand.
• Fresh bikes, helmets, race kits, and gear for customizing your character.
• Weather-affected tracks.
• Online multiplayer racing for those who crave the thrill of competition.

Keep in mind that this is a one-man operation, so please don't be too harsh! My dream is to create the ultimate DH sim, complete with all the tracks, bikes, and riders from the World Cup circuit.
