Video: Official Highlights from the Val di Sole DH World Cup 2024

Credit to WB for listening to PB comments and improving some aspects of the broadcast. The commentary booth with Carlsson + Gwin (or other pro riders) is pretty good nowadays. Even we got to watch Reece have a little appearance, and I think he is really good as a TV guy for the future. The coverage of the whole track was great, but the camera angles still are the weakest point of the show. The ski jump into the final area was shot from a mile high, making one the most exciting finish areas look boring. Also other camera angles made the track look flat compared to previous years broadcasts. Another positive: the slowmos were awesome, keep them coming, great camerawork. The drone was also very good. And finally, they listened! They stopped cutting to shots of the team managers mid run, and instead showed them on a little window on the bottom. Thanks!

To all the people here saying the live coverage was great, did we watch the same thing? Half a minute of each run was shot from the ISS, we didn't get to watch the bikeparky turns and the split line transfer. Not even once. Up there the track even twisted on itself, giving the perfect oportunity to mount a crane and see the riders twice as long from the same spot. The instant replays when riders where holding on for dear life? Come on, just wait till they cross the line and skip the reactions from team managers and the hot seat going "Oooh!" Josh did a great job IMO, he can do the rest of the year, or Ric can come back, as long as they let Rachel or Gwinn their space. Tahnee is the future also as I see it
