2008 Specialized Pitch Pro, size medium, test gloss black/pearl green For sale is a Specialized Pitch Pro with many upgrades in excellent condition. The 2008-2010 models are nearly identical. This bike was originally a "test bike" that comes in very rare gloss black/pearl green colors. Normal Pitch Pros are either poop brown or pee yellow. I purchased the bike new and untested in the summer of 2009 (The last two pictures are of the bike after I first purchased it) and rode it that summer only, because I could not find trails to ride it on after I returned to Chicagoland in the fall, where I spend most of my year. Because I have so few opportunities to ride it, this bike is now for sale. The bike was ridden for 3 months by a lightweight rider, never hucked or jumped. I recently rebuilt it at the beginning of this summer because I planned to ride it again, but the presence of my 4" bike makes this bike unnecessary and so I have not ridden it. *price reduced!!* 2009 Specialized SX Trail II, size medium, polish gold I bought this bike earlier this year, but realized that I would never be able to find trails to ride it on, being in Chicagoland 11 months out of the year. My 4" and 6" travel bikes already more than suffice. I probably should have realized this before I bought the thing, but obviously it is too late now. It makes little sense in keeping this bike only to display it as jaw-droppingly beautiful eye-candy to awestruck friends and teammates, so it is for sale. This bike sold for $4800 plus 10% IL tax. It has never been ridden aside from a brief circle around the bike shop's parking lot to make sure it was the right size. As is evident from the pictures, this bike is brand new. The tires even still have the showroom glean to them and all the parts are all flawlessly clean. Neither the suspension nor the brakes are even close to broken-in yet. The only things I have done to the bike are getting rid of the reflectors and lubricating the suspension seals with slick honey. Everything is stock. There are three blemishes that I found on the bike. -Minor scratches on the drive-side pedal from the bike tipping over onto the cement during the photoshoot. -Scratches and a small tear on the plastic bar-plug on the drive-side, also from the tip-over. -Two very small paint nicks on the frame near the forward shock mount due to an ill-placed screw on my trunk rack.
