Up for sale is my 2021 Rocky Mountain Instinct. This bike started its life as an instinct C90 and had some tasteful upgrades to make it the ultimate do-all bike. The reason I list it as Instinct/Altitude, is that it has been converted to the altitude rear triangle setup, with a fox DHX2 coil with lockout, which bumps the rear travel up to 160mm, while maintaining appropriate geometry with the Rocky Mountain modular shock mount kit. The front fox 36 has also had the air spring upgraded to a 160mm spring, for the ultimate in weight vs suspension travel. The stock transfer seat post has also been swapped out for a Fox Factory transfer with 210mm of travel for the long-legged riders. The bike is set up full XTR, and the rear DT350 has been upgraded to a 54T star ratchet for instant engagement. I have owned this bike since new and did extensive maintenance on it last year, including replacing all pivot bearings, new XTR cassette, new XTR chain and Race Face chainring, professional shock service on the front and rear, new brake pads front and rear, new front rotor and new tires - there is currently CushCore in the rear tire as well. I also had ride wrap on the bike up until last spring when it started to show some signs of wear and I peeled it off. Mechanically the bike is in fantastic condition, and has always been excellently maintained.
