The best solution to adapt disc brakes to a frame without any permanent modification. The support holds onto the v-brake posts in the frame and into the hub. To fit into the hub a couple of nuts are replaced by a special one. The one I have is for Shimano M525 hubs. You can get the replacements online for other hubs and they will cost about $25. For sale a beautiful Klein Mantra with carbon fiber frame in excellent condition with a lot of new parts. This is a 25lb mountain bike, almost everything is stock. There are a few scratches on the top of the carbon beam, cosmetic only, a bit difficult to see in the pictures and normal cable rub. Cranks don't have scratches. The rear derailleur and the headset cap have scratches, looks like they came from a different bike. There is a ding on the rear triangle, very common in this model, when using long seat post and the suspension is fully compressed it will hit the triangle. Just cosmetic, does not affect structure. Rear shock holds air, front suspension just rebuilt, holds air and does not leak oil, all seals were replaced. Lockout does not work, This fork is extremely light, Carbon fiber and magnesium boots, stanchions don't have scratches. Lots of new parts, Brakes, cassette, chain, tires, cables, housing, saddle (Oval R700 in white, not the one pictured), grips Pedals NOT included they are new used in only one ride, can add them for $30.
