Review: Trek's 2025 Slash+ 9.9 is a Ridiculously Good Descender
@znarf: i found myself in the same position about a year ago. i was lucky enough to b able to try some options before deciding which bike to get. I tried a Levo SL, the simplon with tq motor, and the vala. bearing in mind that the priority was on shuttling my kid around on the shotgun and possibly towing him later, i found the range and the power wasn‘t sufficiant for my intended use. funny enough I was able to get a cannondale habit neo for a deal. its got a bosch gen4 cx). its not the flashiest bike out there but it serves its purpose and its surprisingly fun to ride. ( better so after some upgrades). of course it depends on the terrain you‘re going to be ridding too. by now my kid is transitioning to a pedal bike and beeing able to tow him uphill at a sensible speed without worrying too much about wearing down the battery is favorable.. just some food for thought
