Jun 8, 2020Katipo V1 Steel Downhill Frame
$350 GBPConsidering selling my Katipo V1 Steel Downhill Frame, custom made in New Zealand.
63 Degree head angle.
High pivot, fully rearward axle path, idler pulley system. Absolutely eats rocks, accelerates downhill. Ahead of its time.
It is a size small, and takes a 240 x 76mm shock giving just over 200mm of travel.
Designed for 26” wheels, with a 150x12mm rear hub.
I will be including a Rockshox Vivid 5.1 Shock and Crank Brothers headset.
It hasn't been ridden in over in nearly 10 years, so could probably do with some TLC.
Structurally it is sound, with some chain slap to the powder coat, and there is a dent in the downtube up near the headtube caused by a fork bumpstop (will get a picture).
Reason for sale is that it is hung on my workshop wall just looking pretty, and it deserves to be ridden again. Oh, and I could use the money!
Looking for £350 posted.
Any questions just ask, Borgia.
