This listing is for a salsa mukluk frame/fork custom build. I am selling an almost new bike because of injury. It was originally built to be a mountain bike. It is the second build like this I have owned. It would work well in snow of course but it has never seen it because I live in Florida. It is very light. The fork has a Carbon steer tube which only comes on top model or frame. The steer tube is almost full length so you can cut it to whatever fits your needs. Almost all parts are new or so close to new you can’t tell. Bike is 9.5 out of 10 in condition as pics show. The bike has been stored indoors as well. It has a 1x11 drive train because I have found that to be very reliable compared to 12 speed. The xt brakes are reliable and do a great job. The wheels are custom built for strength and durability. They are very light due to being setup tubeless and tire choice is fast. Shipping will be done through bike flights if needed at buyer expense. Only USA buyers please. I purchased this frame set less than 30 days ago. The build was not completed and need to sell. It is 10 out of 10 condition. No marks. 148mm rear and 150mm front. Titanium truss fork. Also have cart bearing headset from jones installed. Uncut steer tube. This normally goes for 2500. Will drive an hour in any direction for pickup to help buyer or ship at buyer expense. This auction is for a Santa Cruz chameleon carbon frame that I built up custom. It has no use do to an injury. I took many pics to show how unridden the build is. I will be as descriptive as I can with parts below. I want to make buyer comfortable when purchasing the bike. It will be sold without pedals and I have a new 175mm gx 11speed crank that will be sent with bike. It will be same as what’s pictured except longer crank arms. The current crank size is smaller due my injury. I plan to use current crank on a future build. The new fork has a steer tube that is almost full length. The pic with the red circle shows how much is still there. It has way more length than normal because I hadn’t committed to a final position I liked yet. Tires also still have some nubs on them. You will also notice that the brakes are shimano xt while the drivetrain is sram gx 1x11. This is the best combo for reliability and performance. It isn’t finicky…….just works. I also still have owners manual, extra dropout kit for 29, and extra Santa Cruz stock foam tubes to keep internal cable housing quiet in frame.
