Transition PBJ - X-Long - Nearly New

$1350 USD
Transition PBJ in X-Long size. Reach is 465mm and stack is 569mm. Geo numbers can be viewed here:https://www.transitionbikes.com/Bikes_PBJ.cfm?srsltid=AfmBOoqWPyWm_DEdqHqcyveki3HYlrSjcFWUBwB5NBPo23p7j5Bt7THL As shown in the photos, this bike is in the black/raw finish. It's never been ridden - it was bought and then put into storage during a house remodel. There are a couple of scuffs (shown in photos) from it being moved around, but otherwise is is new condition. It's the completely standard build with Spank stem and bars and the Pike DJ fork. I would like to avoid shipping this bike if possible - so local buyers preferred. I will ship, but buyer pays actual cost of shipping and packaging. Bike is located in Lake Oswego, OR. Please, no emails offering trades - only interested in cash. Thanks!

Stanton Switchback 27.5 - 18" - custom build

$1850 USD
Full custom build with some great parts and custom touches. The condition is accurately represented in the photos - there are some paint chips and scrapes but nothing that could impact the structural integrity of the frame. This bike has served me well, but just doesn’t get ridden much, so it’s time to pass it on to a new owner. It’s a really fun bike with great geometry - short chainstays and a 65-degree head angle. Link to Pinkbike review: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/stanton-switchback-review-2015.html The frame is Reynolds 631 steel, size is 18” - see gallery for geometry chart. Back when I bought the bike I emailed Dan Stanton about sizing and his response was below - I’m 5’11” for reference: "Ok firstly the 18" is cool for up to 6ft2". The Reach measurements look smaller due to the style of my design. I like to make reaches smaller so you can manoeuvre well round the bike and get your ass over the rear wheel well. You'll notice the Virtual top-tube measurement is quite long, this gives you breathing room on the bike when sat down. Stand up and you've got ultimate control. This design element is what makes my hard-tails very playful and still practical.” The parts list includes: * Enve 27.5 M70 Enduro Wheels (25mm internal diameter) * DTSwiss 240 hubs (spacing is 142 rear and 100 front) * One up 210 dropper post (with custom internal routing - shown in photos) * WTB Silverado saddle * SRAM X01 drivetrain (derailleur, cranks, shifter and 50 tooth cassette) * Wolf Tooth 32T PowerTrac oval chainring * MRP chain guide and bash guard * Shimano XT brakes with Icetech rotors (200mm front / 180mm rear) * Rockshox Pike set to 140mm * Bontrager 50mm stem * Renthal Fatbar @780mm wide * ODI Oury lock-on grips * Maxxis Shorty tires (in need of replacement - will include a new Specialized Eliminator 2.6 with sale) The bike was well taken care of. All maintenance handled by Progression Cycles in Issaquah - bike has hardly been ridden since it’s last service in late 2020 when had the 210mm OneUp dropper was installed. I’ve included service receipts in the gallery. Bike is located in Lake Oswego, OR. A local sale would be preferred but will ship at buyer's expense. Inspections are welcome and happy to do a FaceTime run-through of the bike and parts.

S-Works Enduro Frameset - Size S4

$1900 USD
S-Works Enduro frame with full carbon linkage. Size S4 in raw black carbon. The condition is accurately represented in the photos, there are some scuffs here and there, but it’s in great shape. I haven’t ridden the bike since last September, when I raced it in the Trans Madeira. Just prior to departing for the race, the frame underwent a full overhaul which included replacing all the pivot bearings and installing a new BB. Similarly, I had the X2 serviced by Vorsprung up in Whistler. The bike has been ridden for a total of 6 days after this work was completed - so it’s in perfect working order. Included in the gallery is the credit card receipt for the service which was completed by DownhillZone in Issaquah, together with the receipt from Vorsprung. The frame is located in Lake Oswego, OR and local inspections are welcomed and encouraged. I would prefer a local sale but will ship at buyer's expense - professionally packaged and insured. Happy to do a FaceTime walkthrough for interested parties that aren't local. I've priced this to sell, so please no lowball offers.

Yeti's 2021 Apparel Collection - Across the Pond Beaver
Why not take a few minutes and iron or steam these clothes before shooting pictures? Laziness - if I were an apparel designer at Yeti I'd be pissed.

Review: Troy Lee Designs' D4 Carbon Helmet is a Worthy Successor
I recently replaced a D3 carbon with a D4 carbon so can speak a little to the pros/cons of each. First off, I'd agree that the D3 is a better looking helmet, if only because it's a little more svelte. The D4 is bigger and as a result it unquestionably makes for more of a 'bobble head' look. The D4 is also ridiculously expensive. I get the china tariffs etc, but helmets are still a consumable item - any significant crash and you need a new one. There's a 50 gram difference between the carbon and the composite, so needless to say I think the carbon is a waste of cash. Only reason I went carbon is that I found one with a 30% discount on CRC. With that said, I am enjoying the D4. I ride in the PNW and wear the D4 for nearly all my rides. The added ventilation is very noticeable, as is the drop in weight. The padding inside the helmet is more akin to a trail bike helmet than the D3's - which has a single piece liner. Again that helps with the ventilation/air flow. I also like that the D4 feels sturdy and my perception is that it offers added protection for a negligible weight penalty. I have cracked the chin bar on two Fox Proframes and I just don't think the latest crop of enduro full faces quite meet the mark just yet. That's of course my opinion, but it's at least based off personal experience.
