Chromag Rootdown, M/L frame

$299 USD
2019 Chromag Rootdown frame, size M/L, headset, seatpost collar, and BB. Can run 29/27.5+ This bike was well-loved, but my son has outgrown it so we are swapping over all the parts to another frame. There is nothing wrong with the frame, other than marks from use. I think the new frames are around $700, so how about $299? I could ship, but would prefer local(ish). Super fun bike if you haven't been on one. Could trade for 29+ wheelset suitable for 2.8 rubber, boost spacing. Located in Elmore, VT. Just outside of Stowe.

Stumpjumper Expert Carbon 29 w/coil

$2900 USD
PRICE DROP!! 2018 bike bought new at start of 2019 season. Fork converted to 160, Shock is a DHX2. Bike has been ridden regularly and well cared for, and just returned from shop with a clean bill of health, new GX chain/ NX cassette. Changes from stock build (https://www.specialized.com/us/en/mens-stumpjumper-expert-29/p/154958?color=253541-154958) are fork converted to 160, Coil Shock (comes with 2 springs and original shock), wheels are Race Face Aeffect R30 (with new driver and new spare driver), tires-DHF and DHRII combo with good tread. Size is S5, fits 5'10-6'4 according to Specialized. Happy to take more pictures or chat on the phone. Pictures make her look a little shinier than she is, fyi. Bike is in fantastic shape, I'm just a full disclosure kind of guy. This is an awesome bike that is light with a lot of pep, and the coil makes it even better. It was my son's bike, but he's building up a new one to celebrate graduating high school this year!

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 53 - Should Climbers Still Have the Right of Way?
If Im climbing and its easy enough to pull over and give way to the downhill rider, I usually do that. However if Im navigating a challenging uphill section, I keep going. Last year I was forced off the trail as I rode up by two a-holes waiting, not even riding, at the top of the downhill portion. They told me I was going the wrong way on a trail that I helped build. Etiquette in sport seems to have gone by the wayside, and the more popular a riding/skiing area, the less of it there is. I guess it could be just a numbers game, but regardless, Ive observed having ridden trails in 20+ states, that there are certain riding areas that have a higher percentage of entitled folks riding.

Video: Turning Your Mountain Bike Passion Into A Career - International Women's Day
“The master in the art of living makes little distinction between her work and her play, her labor and her leisure, her mind and her body, her information and her recreation, her love and her religion. She hardly knows which is which. She simply pursues her vision of excellence at whatever she does, leaving others to decide whether she is working or playing. To her she's always doing both. ” (James A. Michener)
