I bought my carbon frame first gen Ibis Ripley new in 2015, and have been the only owner. I switched the drive train to 1x12 gearing, I switched the hubs/rims to I9 (aluminum wheels, not carbon wheels). I switched the stock seat post to a Thompson dropper post . And I switched the brakes to XT brakes. So it has several upgrades. It works great. The only reason I am selling is because I went for a bigger bike. This bike was my first really nice mountain bike, and I have treated it well. I was planning on selling to a friend, so I took it in for maintenance and asked them to make the bike as close as reasonable to new. The suspension wasn't quite yet due for full service, but I had them send it back to the factory for full service anyway. Then my friend decided to buy an ebike, so I'm selling it here. Since the full service, the bike has not been ridden. The frame is Large, and the wheel size of course is 29. It still has the stock suspension in front and back: Trace X Fusion. That suspension has always been great, so I never felt the need to replace it. And like I said, it just went out to the factory for full service. I prefer to just do a local sale rather than shipping. I might possibly be willing to ship, but would want to try first to sell locally.
