Trek Remedy 9.9 Carbon

$2900 USD
2012 Trek Remedy 9.9 Carbon Size Large Fantastic trail bike; climbs and descends like a boss yet as pictured weighs in at only 25.88lbs. Amazing considering the modifications that were made to the original build to enhance the strength and stability of the bike. This example is in very good condition, cosmetic scratches are apparent, as to be expected, yet there is no significant damage or overdue wear, all components have been meticulously maintained. Fox 36 Float FiT RC2 160mm – Added in 2013 Created incredibly solid yet supple front end, there is no comparison. 20mm thru-axle New seals and full rebuild fall 2015– Dirt Labs Boulder Fox Float DRCV – OE frame spec, volume spacer modification added in Spring 2014 OE Spec had strong damping and adjustability with a stable pedal switch. Volume Spacer allows for lower pressures, improving small bump compliance, without affecting end of stroke bottoming resistance. No compromise updates and prevented me from pursuing replacement of the shock. Easton Haven Carbon Bar - 760mm width Easton Stem – 50 mm SRAM XX1 Drivetrain – Added in 2013, removed 2x drivetrain when 1x11 was released 32 Tooth Narrow-wide design front chainring XX1 10-42 1-piece cassette XX1 Shifter and Rear Derailleur XX1 Carbon Crank 26" Easton Haven Carbon Wheels – Added in 2013 Incredibly stiff, lightweight and durable this was one of the best upgrades Tubeless by design, no rim tape required New wheel bearings spring 2016 AVID XO Trail 4 piston brakes – Strong performance and reliability New 180mm rotors F/R fall 2015 New metallic pads and deep bleed spring 2015 Rock Shox Reverb 125mm dropper post Flawless operation, internally routed OE Bontrager Seat ODI lock on grips – replaced summer 2015 Tires: set up tubeless in summer 2015 2.5 Maxxiss Minion DHF 2.4 Maxxiss High Roller II Factory Description: This carbon beauty is a roughly 26-pound, 150mm-travel bike that truly defines "all mountain." Hand made from a mountain-specific blend of Trek OCLV carbon, the 9.9's features read like something that came from NASA: 142x12mm ABP, the stiff E2 head tube, the efficient EVO. And, even the Fox suspension is custom, with both the fork and the shock equipped with DRCV for coil-like awesomeness with the weight and tunability of an air shock. Plus, you'll be able to hang with your XC buddies on the climbs, and your DH buddies on the descents thanks to the sweet component spec: a SRAM 10-speed XX drivetrain, DT Swiss wheels, fat Bontrager tires and even a Reverb dropper seatpost.
