selling my bmx. only had it 2 and half months. some small stone chips and one small dent in uderside of frame due to falling off at a skatepark. the dent hasnt had any effect on the strenth as it still feels as solid as it did when i went out on it for the first time. ride smooth and its very very light. recently replaced the bearings in the headset as there was a creaking from that area but now its all sorted. This is my much loved kona shred 08, i have had it from new and its never let me down, its a bit on the heavy side however i have made it a bit more lighter by the following: halo combat white(disk only) on diatec hubs (chrome) singlespeed conveter (dmr white) light weight Dmr moto diggers ( could do with replacing as they are worn) ODI lock on grips in black ( worn but still loads of life left in them) Avid juicy 3 black front and rear ( feel spongey but apparently thats how the avids feel, but they still grip really well and the best brakes i have ever had. New chain around 4 months ago, slight bit of surface rust but should come off with a bit or steel wool and cleaning probably more just cant remember. I had have no expense spared on this bike and have had the wheels trued twice and the brakes bled once. There are a few scratches on the bike as you would expect from a 5 year old jump bike. no dents or cracks just a few cable rub marks but this doesnt affect the performance or strength of the bike. lovely to ride and will be sad to see it go but needs must. No swaps for bmx as i have one but am looking for another DJ so message me if interested.
