Selling my 2013 Trek Remedy 7. The only reason I am selling this bike is because I moved from the mountains to the extremely flat Texas plains and I no longer have any need for a bike like this. This bike has been heavily modified since I bought it new. I have upgraded both the front and rear suspension to some of the best equipment in the industry in addition to changing the entire drive train to be better suited for trail riding. Currently, the bike is equipped with a Fox 36 Talas fork with 160mm of travel (10mm increase from stock), a Cane Creek DB Inline shock (complete with updated internal bushings, rings, and seals). The drivetrain is comprised of a mixture of a Shimano Zee derailleur and a Race Face narrow wide 32t chain ring. Stopping is accomplished through a set of Shimano XT brakes with 180mm rotors front and back which are hung from Race Face SIXC Carbon Riser bars (785mm width). Attaching the bars to the bike its self, a Kore 50mm stem lightens the front end up, gives the bike better responsiveness through the corners, and helps provide a more centered feeling on the bike. Finally, the bike is equipped with a Rockshox Reverb dropper post (125mm) which also has updated internals. The combination of these parts create an incredibly capable trail/all-mountain bike which gives confidence to take on anything from a multi-hour trail ride to bike park use. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get into a fun, well maintained bike which will expand your capabilities on any trail. This 2013 Trek Superfly Elite Al is in great condition. I am only getting rid of this bike because, after going away to school, I haven’t been able to ride it often enough to justify keeping it. I have converted this bike to a 1 X 10 drive train to simplify and lighten the bike overall. It comes with two sets of wheels, when set up with the Stans no tubes wheels, it weighs just over 21 pounds and is an incredibly reliable platform. Like any other used bike it has some scratches in the paint, however, mechanically this bike is in great shape. The fork seals were recently replaced and should be good to go for many more miles. Additionally, the bearings and drive train are in good condition and have plenty of life left.
