Course Preview Video - EWS Chile
Take into account that liaisons and special stages there lie between 3800 and 1800 metres above sea level (approx.), you have to acclimatise a minimum before racing. At the Bike Park (lifts) the two first descents from the top of la Parva will leave you hazy and drained by the fourth or fifth you just have to stop and rest a long while before going up and down again.

Matt Hunter Explores Patagonia - Video
These are Gauchos/Arrieros' trails https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arriero, there are no continuous routes let alone asphalt in most of Patagonia, the shepherds have lived and traded (not Pampa) using trails like these for a couple of centuries

I don't agree, it is South Patagonia + North Patagonia including some central-south lake region volcanoes which are within Patagonian northern latitude, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patagonia
