Custom Trek Fuel EX8 (M/17.5) £850 ONO

$850 GBP
For Sale: Custom Trek Fuel EX8 (M) Black/Silver. £850 ONO. For sale is my Trek Fuel EX8. The bike is 100% custom built by myself and rides fantastically well, it really is good fun, especially at the trail centres. Only selling due to a recent new arrival in the family and the need for more space and money, so this is a very reluctant sale indeed! Condition wise, it is in good working order, but as with all used bikes it does have the usual cable marks in the usual areas, marks where the front mech used to be and the usual other small scratches you get when transporting etc. It also has a dent at the bottom of the down tube, which is rather noticeable when the bike is upside down, but is only cosmetic and invisible when the right way up. Mechanically, the bike is sound. I bought the frame about a year ago from my brother who bought it new, and had intended to have it custom sprayed over the summer, but since the wee man arrived i’ve unfortunately not had the time to sort it out. The bones are the Fuel EX8 frame with Fox RP2 shock, Marzocchi 44 Micro Ti forks (140mm, originally retailed for £570), Mavic Tubeless disc wheels, and Avid Elixir R SL brakes. The drivetrain is mostly XT with Raceface cranks (single ring + bash), tyres are folding Continental Mountain King 2.4's. Towards the end of the summer i put new tyres on and replaced the brake pads too hoping that i’d get more riding in, but since then i’ve done very little (it’s been 3 months since the last one…), so they are all in excellent condition. The bike has been well looked after (i used to work as a bike mechanic) and also well loved, as custom build ups often are and I am quite attached to it, so will be sad to see it go. I'll also be including a shock pump in mint condition and any spare tubes i have, don't know how many, but there are a few lying around. Any questions, please get in touch. Main Specs: Frame: Trek Fuel EX8 with Fox RP2 Shock with ProPedal (SIZE MEDIUM / 17.5 inches from the centre of the BB to top of the seat tube) Forks: Marzocchi 44 Micro Ti (140mm) Wheels: Mavic Crossroc Tubeless Disc Tyres: Continental Mountain King 2.4 (Folding) Brakes: Avid Elixr R SL (200mm front/160mm rear) Crankset/BB: Raceface Ride Mech/Cassette/Chain/Shifter: XT/XT/XT/Deore Other components are a mix of FSA and Truvativ, and it currently has a WTB saddle, Ragley lock on grips and DMR V8 pedals which i’d wanted to replace to get matching stuff after the respray which never happened. You may wish to swap out the contact points for something to your taste, i’ve always liked these ones myself.

Ragley Piglet Mountain Bike Frame. 17 Inch. Orange. + Seatpo

$250 GBP
Hi All, For sale is my Ragley Piglet mountain bike frame. Bought new in June this year and built up as a lovely singletrack machine with 140mm forks up front. It is a superb bike to ride, really good fun, responsive and easy to weave down tricky singletrack. I've only actually had it built up for about 2 and a half months, and only used it off road a handful of times, mostly it has just sat in my spare room! I'm only selling it because i was got a really nice full-sus frame (a Trek EX8) via my little brother! Couldn't resist getting a nice all mountain 5 inch trail bike together, and couldn't afford to get all the new bits together! I am still torn putting it up for sale as i'd love to get it back together. As you will see from the photos, the frame is in excellent condition, there are a few tiny marks from cables, as soon as you take the plastic film off these seem to magically appear... but nothing that detracts from a beautiful steel frame. The frame is 17 inches and has a nice and roomy cockpit, perfect for technical single track and trail centres. It also features very neat and clever cable routing, really nice touch. Also included in the auction is a Raceface Evolve seatpost, bought for the Piglet, and a sealed Cane Creek headset, also bought new for the piglet. Total value in parts is about £450, but considering I need to quickly recoup some cash spent on the new frame and bits I'd consider anything around the £250 mark as all the parts are nearly new. Any question please feel free to get in touch and i'll do my best to respond asap! Cheers!

Specialised Allez Elite. Size Medium (54cm) £600 ONO

$600 GBP
Hi Everyone, For sale is my Specialised Allez Elite road bike. Size Medium (54cm). It's a 2011 model, in excellent condition, a bit of muck around the drivetrain, but everything works perfectly. With a wash and some new bar tape it would be as good as new. I've had the bike since the beginning of last summer (bought new from Dales in Glasgow), so i've had two summers from it and a winter (though it very rarely left the bike room!) Bought with good intentions, but has only really been used for the short cycle to work. It's had a few bigger outings, but overall has had very few miles put on it. It still has the original tyres on, and they still have pretty much full tread! Here's a link for full spec and a bunch of reviews on Evans. www.evanscycles.com/products/specialized/allez-elite-2011-road-bike-ec025029 Am looking for around £600 for it, though am open to offers around that figure. Any question please feel free to ask! Cheers, Alex.
