From Sawmills to Singletrack - Video
Rode ATCA last fall, about this time. Just after the change of seasons and just after a fun time in Bend/MacRiver Trail riding. It didn't hurt we saw DeadPhish Orchestra the night before arriving in Oakridge. Great little place to stay west of Oakridge at what we called Chicken Sally's Ranch. Cool place. Oakridge itself is an interesting town. I felt like we were being eyed up left and right like we didn't belong there, the grocery store was full of what seemed to be a bunch of methheads and seemingly they thought our presence there was somehow to blame for the economic failure of Oakridge. Either way, great riding! I'll be back.

Sorry to hear you broke your ankle on this. I broke my right foot on the gap at the end of Stormin' Mormon. I cased it on June 29th, yeah, it sucked. Ran out of talent as a friend put it. I am full weight bearing again, no surgery, started PT this week. Hope you heal fast too!

Andrew Shandro and Trek Bikes visit Copper Harbor, Michigan
Copper Harbor is on the list... I grew up in Appleton, WI but never got to ride much of anything good, just some local short singletracks in the parks, etc. Made it back to WI a few years ago and just got back from a visit there. Rode Underdown trails near Irma, WI, Ninemile in Wausau and the Cable trails. All highly recommended, also found some kind of fun singletrack in Peninsula State Park a few days ago. If you're going up to Lutsen or anywhere near there along the north shore, stop in Knife River at Russ Kendalls to pick up some great smoked whitefish
