@TheRaven: I have a pretty similar experience with one exception. As the brake pads wear one of the calipers seems to stick a bit so the opposite one will accommodate to some degree. This ends up leading to some inconsistent feel in the bite point. So about once in a while I will pull the wheels of and cycle both of the calipers of the slave cylinder a little to help reduce the stickiness. I have not bleed mine in about 2 years but have dealt with the sticky caliper a few times.

Avid Elixir 3 Brakeset

$45 USD
I have a fully functional f/r Avid Elixir brakeset off of my gf's 2012 Giant Anthem 29er that I replaced with some Shimano XTs. These do not come with rotors or mounting brackets. I have various avid brackets in the spare parts bin that I could scare up. Let me know what you need, and I might have it. I do not need these and they need to go. I will ship at buyers expense. They will need a bleed as well. I can bleed them for an added expense.

Review: Novatec Factor 327 Wheelset
Like others have mentioned I9 are good. Though I prefer Hadley hubs. High engagement and lower rolling resistance than I9s.

Yeti SB5c - Review
@Cali don't be telling that to too many. They may get all butthurt and stuff. Whilst travel and geo are useful to some degree. They may not be entirely indicative of how one sus design compares to another design. I have talked to a few that did not like the feel or complicated design of the switch on previous models. I personally loved how it felt. The harder I pushed the faster it went and better it handled. Yeah, it was not super plush at the top of the stroke (perhaps that particular setup). But I really like sprinting out of the saddle more than feeling of pedaling a sofa.
