This looks amazing, but can we please all let go of the gratuitous "hero carry" mode of hike-a-bike? Until it is *absolutely* necessary, anything but pushing your bike on the ground is literally the stupidest move you can make in a death march scenario ride. And I love a good death march. Hate to be that guy but... seriously. Just stop. Every time I'm on a death march and someone throws their bike on their shoulders, I'm like: WTF? Did you just deploy a personal drone? Are you live-streaming this? Are you trying to move from 400 followers to 401?
Also, full honestly, I'm totally that guy.

@fabwizard: I've actually seen the MS setup side-by-side with the OL. I'd say the difference is far from "way less" output. From a perception on the trail standpoint, I thought the brightness difference looked negligible, and the OL has a way better light pattern. MS was like having a round spotlight pointed down the trail. So, yeah, maybe they put out more raw lumens by the numbers... maybe... but if so they put those lumens in not helpful places. Plus, it's easier to be a "brighter" option when you require users to strap a 5lb battery to their bikes. No thanks.

@cycling-trivialities: No environmental review required for chainsawing out old Moto trails that have been there for 40 years. Also, most trails organizations don't purchase fleets of custom-wrapped, branded sprinter vans to do trail work.

OG Ibis Ripley $1799
$1799 USDSelling my 2014 Ibis Ripley, hands down one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned. Bike is in great shape with just a few cosmetic issues typical for a bike of this age. It’s full XT with upgrades here and there, including a basically new drivetrain with a OneUp 42-tooth ring in the back and a Wolf Tooth ovalized 30-tooth up front. KS Lev dropper is 150mm with thumb lever upgrade. Will ship to US and Canada, or local pickup in Olympia area. 2.35 Nobby Nics have tons of tread left and are laced to Hope Pro2 Evo in the back and an America. Standard in front.
I'm the only owner of this bike and it has been well cared for. There is a small spot on the downtube where the paint is rubbed off, but it is cosmetic only. BB is new, as are headset bearings. The bike really hasn't been ridden much in the last 2 years or so as I've been focusing on racing hardtail.
