E-Enduro is poorly adapted. It should be a cross between XC and Enduro DH. These are pro athletes, let’s watch them race an open circuit for 30min, since they have motor support. Peer to peer passing, energy conservation strategy, skilled climbs, gnarly downhills. If the industry wants to promote e-bikes, go in at it with a segment of racing made for the bikes.

These trails are just off my back yard and I was so excited to see the race return after a few years away. It’s such a great trail system and I’m so excited for our little community to show what it can offer. It was humbling to see just how fast the top guys were, and the reckless lines I learned from them. Can’t wait to sharpen up and get whooped again next year (hopefully).

I was looking forward to this bike. Have been patiently waiting for a 170+ high pivot full power ebike for my preferred riding. Setting aside the inherent concerns around the new MS2 impacts on the market and trail access - great, sounds perfect with a fat bike if used responsibly. Recently realized Maxxis’ ESC ebike class won’t allow the Avinox motors as they exceed class 1 standards. It’s hard to justify the price commitments on these bikes if they cannot be raced.

I typically roll my eyes at the Pinkbike comments, there are a lot of industry professionals with supporting data making these decisions. They aren't always great but there is a reason for them. However I am compelled to agree, I have no freaking idea who or what this bike is really for. I get that its boomers with money, but in most respects they would have just bought a levo 4 at the dealer anyways. As a huge fan of specialized I thought, surely this is going to be an updated Kenevo, full power, six bar suspension. They have updated every other bike within the last 4-5 years and a long travel motor powered downhill bike would fill a market demand I often see called out. Specialized. What is going on? This has been a rough time for cycling and Spec seems to be self inflicting more pain than the other brands lately.

Yeeesh these comments are rough. Love wearing my full kit, look fast feel fast. I want to play pretend racer on my bike on my day off and that fantasy is worth all the ridicule. If you are listening Fox, more 90’s moto fluorescent colors, thanks!
