1992 Nishiki Alien 18" Custom Mountain Bike

$500 USD
Here is a 1992 Nishiki Alien mountain bike in 18". This bike is one from my personal collection. I've got too many, and I need to thin the herd. I bought this bike as just the frame. When I purchased it, the paint was stripped. I had the frame professionally blasted, and powder coated to the approximate original green color (hence no decals). This aluminum frame is in excellent overall condition. I try and find the bad scratches, and take pictures of them. There are no scratches, dings, scuffs, etc of any kind (see pictures). The frame is perfect. This bike was built up with quality components, taken off a late 1990's higher end frame. This Nishiki Alien mountain bike is in excellent overall condition with Shimano components, and Shimano trigger-type shifters. It has 27 gears (3 up front, and 9 in rear). The Rockshox Judy soaks up trail chatter on this very capable off roader. As a former bicycle mechanic, I just gave it a thorough tune up. Washed bike, removed drivetrain, degreased, cleaned, reinstalled and lubed the drivetrain. This bike is ready to ride. I put the wheels in a truing stand, and they spin straight and round. Lots of new, and quality parts on this bike. LX crank, XT rear derailleur, LX 3x9 shifters, Club Roost "Go Fast" bars with a shorter stem for a more comfortable ride. After I built this, I never took it off road. Only rode it around the neighborhood a few times, and it just sits. At the time of build up I installed NEW Saddle, new Bottom Bracket (bearings at the crank), all new shift cables, brake cables, and all associated housing. Also installed new seatpost, new Bontrager XR3 tires and new pedals. Only issues with the bike, (and they really are not issues): The left shifter has a broken lens on it (shifts as it should), and this frame was made for cantilevers, but I installed v-Brakes for better stopping power. This means that I needed to install a piece of housing in the rear that really doesn't belong there, but brakes as it should (see pict). Shifts, stops, and rides as it should. I have access to have this bike boxed. Buyer pays actual shipping costs. (or local pick up in Western New York area)

Trek X-Caliber 9 15.5" - Like new

$1175 USD
Here is a 2018 X-Caliber 9 in 15.5". I purchased this bike new in 2018, and took excellent care of it. I sold it a couple years back. I really wanted a nice hardtail again, so I reached out to the buyer last spring to see if he would sell it back to me. He agreed. Last spring, I gave the bike a really good going over. Installed a like new saddle, installed new Polymer coated Shimano derailleur cables, front and rear ($40), new grips ($20), fixed a couple other issues, and took the bike for a ride. Then it sat. I purchased some more parts for it, to make it like new and to upgrade, but the parts sat, and so did the bike. I much prefer my full suspension bike, as I'm getting older and it doesn't make sense for me to hold onto this race-ready hardtail. I really do like this bike, and I'm struggling with selling it, but I wanted to make it as perfect as I could for the new owner. (or if it doesn't sell, and I end up keeping it) Besides the new cables, housing and like new saddle and grips installed in spring of last year, I just finished putting a slew of new parts on this. I just installed: New - Front and Rear SLX hydraulic brakes (huge upgrade over previous brakes)- $275.00 New - Front and Rear Bontrager XR2 Comp tires (27.5 x 2.2) - $80.00 New - 11 speed XT cassette (upgrade over old SLX) - $105.00 New - 11 speed XT chain (upgrade over old KMC) - $42.00 I also just rebuilt the Rockshox Recon fork with new 50 hour kit (main seals and oil) There are a few scratches here and there on this bike, but most of the scuffs are in the decals (see pictures). When I did purchase this bike back, I did notice that the non-driveside crank arm is no longer an XT arm, but a Deore arm. This really isn't an issue, as it's the same length, and looks very similar, but the crank is not a matched set. All bearings spin smooth, and like new. Rear derailleur, front derailleur, and crank have been removed, degreased, cleaned and reinstalled. With the new cassette, and chain, this 2x11drivetrain is like new. I run clipless pedals, so I threw on a half-way decent set of alloy flats to sell with the bike. If I were to buy/keep this bike, the only thing I would change would be the pedals. Otherwise, it's ready to shred. If shipping, I will take bike to LBC, and buyer pays boxing cost, and coordinates shipping with LBC (14221).

Trek Top Fuel - Custom Build - As New - 15.5"

$4000 USD
Here is a 2021 Trek Top Fuel in 15.5" (S). I purchased this frame new in 2020, and picked every single part on this bike. It was built during Covid, so I had to be patient for parts to arrive. This was going to be my dream bike. Bike was not finished till late summer of 2021. Frame is a 2021 Trek Top Fuel AL – Alpha Platinum Aluminum, Tapered head tube, Knock Block, Control Freak internal routing, Downtube guard, magnesium rocker link, Mino Link, ABP, Boost 148, with 115mm rear travel. Rear Shock is Fox Performance Float, 2-position DPS damper Fork is a Rockshox SID ultimate with 120mm travel. This is a fantastic Down-Country/Trail bike, with full lockout (makes bike fully rigid with the push of a lever). I have another full suspension Trek, and when ever I go for a ride, I tend to grab my other bike much more often than this bike. This Top Fuel, probably has less than 15 rides on it. I usually do around 10 or less miles in a ride, so this bike has less than 150 miles on it. I am a former bicycle mechanic, and this bike has been meticulously maintained. Washed, wiped down, and blown dry after every ride. If the chain remains muddy/gritty, I remove it, along with the cassette, and put in my ultra-sonic cleaner, so they come out perfect. When I built this bike up, and starting riding it in late 2021, I pulled the suspension apart, and greased all pivots, and torqued to spec. I did this every season, and did it most recently in Aug/September of 2023. Again, this bike has been my baby and has been meticulously maintained. When built, I also purchased 2 packages of Ride Wrap frame protection, and has been covered tip to tail for protection. This bike is like new and is fantastic. Unfortunately, I’m building a high-end hard tail, and I just purchased a fat bike frame. This beautiful Top Fuel needs to go, to fund my addiction. Below is a list of all specs on this bike along with pricing. Pricing does not include shipping, tax, or labor. I have a significant amount in this bike, and I know I can’t get out of it what I put in. Other specs: 2021 Top Fuel Frame 29" small $2,200.00 Rockshox Sid Ultimate 120mm $970.00 White Industries hubset $549.00 Pro Tharsis Dropper post $330.00 Front XT Brakes $170.00 Brake mount adapter $11.00 Shimano Shift cables (pair) (polymer) $90.00 Mucky Nutz Frame protector (2) $68.00 Chain guide $70.00 Pro Griffon Off Road Saddle $100.00 Velocity 35 Rims $240.00 Spank Oozy 780 Vibrocore Handlebar $100.00 Anodized Blue alloy spoke nipples $60.00 DT Competition 288mm Double butted black spokes (2 boxes of 20) (front left and right rear) $70.00 Stan's rim tape $18.00 DT Competition 289mm Double butted black spokes (20) $35.80 DT Competition 290mm Double butted black spokes (20) $35.80 Continental 29 x 2.4 Trail King Tires $160.00 Spank 33mm grips $25.00 Bontrager Droplock remote $126.00 Rear XT Brakes $170.00 RT86 (XTR) Rotors $116.00 Sram GX Groupset $587.00 Sram DUB BB $46.00 XD axle/driver for White rear hub $250.00 Pro Blue Top Cap Wolf tooth seat post clamp $25.00 Wolf Tooth Anodized bling kit $35.00 Total spent: $6,657.60 Bike is shown with pedals, but they will NOT be included in the sale.
