@curtiscycles: Here's the part that Remy and Yoann are missing with his line of thinking. Basically what he is saying is its a risk benefit analysis. But for this thought process to hold up you would need to be SO precise as a result of the half shell vision improvements that you never crash again. Which as we see here, is not realistic. Even one crash in a half shell could be catastrophic. He got so damn lucky with the way he landed, he could have easily landed face first and been permanently disfigured or even killed. Turn safe search off and Google "Leforte 3 fractures" for a little hint of what I'm talking about.
