After owning multiple GX Eagle that either had weak as clutches slapping all the time, or bushing getting so much play they starter creaking badly,
Multiple XT that required adjusting every other ride, clutch services almost every other month, and bend out of shape by themselves so soft they are,
I finally gave up and got a Jab, first with the bushings in a Eagle configuration and now transformed to T-type/Eagle shifter with bearings, I love the look, the performance, how trouble free and precise it has been and that is super easy to work on, adjust and tune, and that down the line I can service it instead of chucking it in the bin like SRAM and Shimano

@Rattnalle: i agree, long chainstays bikes can also be fun in their own way, but it's definitely not my flavor, unless going full attack they can be cumbersome and pretty boring

@blacker-canyons: I’d say exactly the opposite, spent a month on the 140 and while feeling more sporty on smooth climbs the Offering v2 let alone the v4 are way smoother and require less energy when going up roots and chunk,
Forget the downhill where the v4 is just a different beast, the 140 shines where you push hard but didn’t have a great geo for it

@PatMAE: this one was designed around size Large, just so you know, what I don’t understand about XL riders is why they so mad that not everything is a semi,
There’s xl riders that like these bikes with short rear ends, does everything needs to be uber long?
I get the proportionality, with delta and a small brand like evil it would make frames cost a fortune as the whole linkage would need to change every size to have the same feel and proportional from/rear centers
Yeti LT, raw Madonna, all the Nicolai stuff, there’s plenty of bikes with proper front to back for XL
Does Everything have to be the same?
