Specialized Announces New Tire Compounds & Casings
I didn’t know maxxis was making them at that point but it makes sense. That original grid compound was legit. @jefe:

Specialized Announces New Tire Compounds & Casings
Funny I don’t think anyone has mentioned the old 2.3 butcher grid. 2014-2016 and maybe a bit before. They were 1,000g and aside from being a bit narrow for 30mm+ rims they were an amazing tire. That compound hooked up extremely well. I believe in 2017 they released an updated butcher with a new tread and compound. They still called it a grid but it couldn’t come close to the previous grid, I ended up returning them and getting my money back! Hope these newest versions are back on track!

Sheffield's Steel City Downhill Track has Been Vandalised
Similar experience yesterday on my local trails. Branches placed across a mountain bike single track. I plowed right into the first one because I didn’t see it until I was already in the air. Nothing happened but I was really frustrated. The volume of people in my small mountain town has been like a 3 day weekend for weeks.

Great riding and trails! So much dead fall though, just like my local trails in Sierra/Nevada range.

Interview: Loic Bruni - 'The Future is So Blurry & Unpredictable That I Do Not Really Know What to Do'
Feeling frustrated and unmotivated myself! Respect to Loic for honoring shelter in place. Hard to do when you are used to not thinking twice about leaving the house. I quit working 2 weeks ago as my wife is due first week of April. Crazy times for sure. So looking forward to this being over. Makes you appreciate “non-pandemic” earth a lot more. Stay safe everyone!

Fox Factory Transfer post 150mm 31.6mm internal

$245 USD
2019 Fox Factory Transfer post, 31.6mm, 150mm drop. Just got this post back from Fox, full factory rebuild. Post is literally brand new. There aren’t even any where wear marks from it being in a frame. My sob story goes like this. I purchased this post from a PB member back in November for a new build. The build never happened and when I got around to inspecting the post I found it to have oil residue on the bottom and it would not return. I paid member $210 for the post and $90 to Fox to have it returned to like new condition. The post has not been used since receiving from Fox. Comes with 6 month warranty. $245 shipped to lower 48.
