Ask Pinkbike: Tire Inserts, Jumping, NX vs. GX, and Extreme Angles
I'm only one park ride in on CushCore but this is a good way to put it. Rim protection and the option of lower pressures was a factor in getting them, but the most immediately noticeable thing was vibration from brake bumps being drastically reduced, and even in CO moon dust I was able to corner a lot more aggressively and confidently. The weight penalty does not seem significant, maybe the same as tubes, but I will say in a way it "feels" heavier when contacting the ground because the tires have less bounce.

Ask Pinkbike: Carbon vs. Aluminum Rims, Mismatched Drivetains, Coil Shock Sag, & How Much Travel Does a Beginner Need?
Depends on where you ride. I'm glad I learned on a hardtail, but that was on clay trails back east with just a few roots to contend with. Now I'm in Colorado and about 2% of the trails in my area would still be fun on your average hardtail and I think a beginner would be turned off pretty quick.

Apr 30, 2020Fox Factory 36 - 27.5 160mm
$220 USDThis fork took a pretty hard crash that left some decent scratches in the right stanchion (pictured). My understanding is its definitely repairable and may even be ridable as-is, but I went to a 29er so didn't look too hard into doing it myself. It performed great prior to the crash. Some other cosmetic scratches and air cap and kashima coat have faded a little. Note this is NON-BOOST.
Price includes shipping, will be slightly less for local pickup.

Pinkbike Poll: Will Your Next Bike Have More or Less Suspension Travel?
I ride a 140/160 but since moving to Colorado I feel like I'm often pushing its limits on rocky descents. Now eyeing a 160/170 or so to just not feel like I'm utterly abusing my bike all the time. I think with 5 years of geometry advancement it will at least be a wash in the climbing department.

Oct 18, 2017NEW Crank Brothers Mallet Enduro Pedals
$100 USDNever used on trail. Installed and pedaled down the street a few times, but I decided to stick with another brand. You may see some light marks on the cleats from this but otherwise they are brand new.
$100 shipped or $90 if picked up locally

Apr 19, 2017RhinoRack 2500 System - 2011-2017 Ford Focus Hatchback
$280 USDThis is pretty specific but if you need a roof rack for a Ford Focus hatchback 2011-2017, this one is hard to beat. I am only selling because I have changed vehicles. It has been well taken care of and cleaned since removal, nearly flawless condition with only a light scuff where one carrier was attached. The system retails for $489.
Part # RS323B
Bar length: Front 1047mm, Rear 987mm
Fits all carriers that mount to aero-style bars.
Includes fit kit, requires only an allen key to install.
Includes 2 keys for the cover plates.
Local pickup or buyer pays shipping, which depending on your location I expect to be around $50.
If you are in the region we may be able to meet in the middle, just ask.

Trail Hunter - Jamaica
There are dangerous parts, sure, but a lot of the negative things you hear are from tourists who go and expect the whole island to look like a sandals resort. Keep in mind it is a third world country, but the scenery, people and food are great. If you do a bit of research and use common sense, you'll have a great time and I do recommend getting off the beaten path.
