1999 Klein Attitude large ultralight mtb frame. Built in Wisconsin USA by Klein but after they were bought by Trek. Made from their Gradient Precision Tubeset 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. Same frame as the top of the line Adroit, but with external cable guides vs. the Adroit's were internal. Just over 3lbs. Heavier with the sealed cartridge bottom bracket and bb mounted Shimano front derailleur. This frame used standard 1-1/8 headset, v linear or canti brakes, and could mount a 22mm disc brake if you can find one. 31.6mm seat post. Including a 34.9 seat post clamp. I'm measuring 19" seat tube and almost 23" theoretical top tube so calling it a large. Some scratches on the Left seatstay, and one ding on the left side of the down tube. Otherwise beautiful Klein paint job. Lovely red orange with yellow graphics. I'm measuring 19" seat tube and almost 23" theoretical top tube so calling it a large. Too big for me or I'd keep it. Would trade for a small or wsd full suspension frame for my gf.

Classic Vintage 1997 Klein Attitude mountain bike with mostly original parts Med frame, 19" seat tube, almost 23" long measured along the top tube center to center. beautiful red orange paint with the original KLEIN yellow graphics under the clearcoat external cable routing. There is one ding on the main downtube, left side near the E, very minor, and the paint is scratched on the left seat stay (and badly touched up) Euro Bottom Braket, 1-1/8 threadless headset - a classic caged ball AHEADSET in there now. R0ck Shox Jett XC suspension fork in great condition functionally and aesthetically. Bontrager 25.4 6061T aluminum Crusier flatbars, Bontrager stem, approx 115mm Moslty Shimano STX RC groupset, but the rear derailleur is a Shimano Deore LX STX RC 175 cranks, very nice STX RC thumbshifters, and no logo STX RC brake levers. front and rear v-brake arms are also unbranded, but believe they are OEM Shimano. Wheels are classic Bontrager Corvair Asym double wall aluminum alloy rims in excellent condition Hubs are Bontrager marked (Shimano made) mechanically sealed loose ball servicable hubs. 8 speed rear Bontrager alloy QR skewers The seat is a replacement Bontrager railed saddle Unknown 31.6mm seat post. Original was Easton tube, which this might be. Will ship anywhere in North America, but buyer pays shipping. Will pack and drop off at the local shipper or bike shop of your choice for free. Anything other than full price, and I keep the brand new Bontrager LT3 26x2.00 tires and tubes. I could use them elsewhere.

It's a classic. Not really thinking anybody is gonna race this, though you could. This is for the serious collector. You don't find many out there -and rarely for sale. They cost $400 new back in 1994 (which equates to $1 Million in 2009 money according to my pitiful bank account.) The MTB type rider liked these too because the long back end makes it stable for downhill riding.
