Now Finished: Ask Us Anything - Jesse Melamed, Remi Gauvin & Andreane Lanthier Nadeau
Thanks for doing this. How does your day-to-ay 'healthy' nutrition differ from your race day/hard training session nutrition? Cheers!

Apr 20, 2020Santacruz Nomad
$2200 CAD2015 Santacruz carbon Nomad size Large. The bike is fully ready to rip. Yes, the bike has been ridden, but I"m meticulous about maintenance. Shock was just fully rebuilt by Fluid Function (no rides on it since re-build). They said shock was in "great shape". Inside Line shop here in Calgary just installed all new hardwear (full ProPack) and all new bearings (no rides since.) I did about 3-4 lower services on the Pike fork per year and additionally one full re-build/year at Fluid Function in Squamish.
I just got the bike back from inside Line who tried their best to find a crack in the frame so I could warranty, but nothing, frame is in great shape.
Upgrades to the bike:
One-up 175mm dropper post has worked great (unlike the Reverb the bike came with)
Saint Brakes (203mm front rotor new last year and 180mm rear)
Handbuilt DT Swiss Wheelset (by Spoke Service). 30mm internal width rear and 35mm width front rims. Yes they have some dings in them but are perfectly round, true and seal up tubeless. I have never had to touch a single spoke on these wheels ever. Great wheelset.
Brand new, never ridden Diety handlebar
Brand new, never ridden Ergon grips.
Full disclosure:
Fork crown has rub marks from North Shore bike rack - just cosmetic. See pic.
Tires are worn (50-70%), but I"ll let the buyer choose 2 tires from my parts bin which are at 80-99% (highroller, DHF, Shorty....)
Bike will need a new chain and cassette after this season. I"m including a brandnew chain-ring in the purchase.
I would sell this bike to my best friend with full confidence. Ready to rip.
Happy to answer any questions.
Neil

Apr 3, 2020Shimano Carbon Road Shoes size 44
$100 CADShimano Carbon Road Shoes. Excellent shoes, just too small for me. Size is 44, but they fit on the small side. I'm a mens size 44/ US 10 but they are a bit small. Will be best for someone who is 9.5 US or 43 Euro Was away from road riding for a while then put them on and they don't fit. Paid $450ish when new. There are some scuffs on the bottom from walking around, but no issues. Takes both triangle (Time) and standard bolt patterns. Incredibly stiff with great power transfer.

@jeffsworks: Thanks! No to the bike packing gear. I strongly believe that personally doing the activity you make gear for is a requirement to making gear that works. I don't bike pack. Who knows what the future holds. Porcelain Rocket is da man for bikepacking gear.
