I've got an adapter pressed in so i can run a threaded BB. Press fit will look a little like an internal headset. What cranks have you got?

I think you are right about it being taller. Its the only fork I have had on this frame so have nothing to compare it against but I have never found it to be an issue. But to be honest, as you might see in the picture, I have it pretty well decked as low as possible

the shifter is X0, mech is X9. really couldnt see any need to spend nearly £100 more on an X0 mech for 2g weight saving.
