My Pivot Mach 429SL carbon fiber full suspension mtb is probably about 5 years old. Never any problems with it. It's in good shape. I live in Winthrop, so it only gets ridden half the year. I am 71 and my wife just got me an e-mtb. I am not a gonzo rider. The only air this bike has seen is when I lift it out of my truck bed. Never even been in the mud. I usaully ride a size Large bike but Pivot told me at 5' 10" I would fit best on their size Medium. They were right. Fits great. Will deliver within 100 miles of Winthrop, WA. I believe my carbon Bianchi D2 Cross Concept bike is from 2009. After I had it for a while, I added Ritchey carbon bars, and a PRO carbon stem. The seat is new. The rear derailleur is Shimano Ultegra and the front is Shimano 105. The 175 crankset is FSA Gossamer with 34/50 chainrings. 10 speed 11/32 rear cassette. I also got rid of the wimpy Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels it came with and installed stronger wheels with Velocity A24 rims and Ultegra hubs. Cantilever brakes are Shimano 105 with new pads. I recently replaced the celeste cable housing. Tires are Clement X'plor USH 700 x 35; lots of tread left. Top tube is approx. 56/57 cm. I am 5' 10" tall. Does not include pedals. I never raced cyclocross and have used the bike mostly for gravel and some winter road riding. It's a sweet ride and doesn't have a lot of miles. Located near Winthrop, WA. This was my wife's road bike. You couldn't find a nicer road bike when we bought this a few years back. We made the mistake of getting her a size too large. She is 5' 5" tall. She has since purchased a bike that fits her. But even though the Kestrel was not quite the right size, she loved it. It is really quite pretty with a translucent blackberry color finish. In the sun you can see the carbon weave through the paint. Bike is speced with top-of-the-line Shimano Dura Ace 9 speed components and custom-built Dave's Wheels. It weighs under 19 lbs. We have always kept it out of the weather. Go ahead and Google the make and model. You should find some nice reviews. This would be a terrific road bike for someone on a budget. Like most road bikes it does not come with pedals (she always used Speedplay). It is in good shape with the usual minor scratches for a used road bike. Top tube measures 54.5cm. You're welcome to a test drive but you will have to bring your own pedals. Unless you pick it up here we'll charge you $100 to pack it well and ship it in a bike box.
