@torj: what if the conditions were actually better than the previous day for the top 5ish riders? is that fair? you want the world to be fair, but fact it is isn't, some people die young and some live till 100+, it's just the way the cookie crumbles. Weather affected the top qualifiers this time, it's just the way it is. Maybe weather will affect the lowest seeded qualifiers next race, like for example Leogang 2016, where the track dried out considerably though the course of the day. I'm not being a troll, I just dislike your mindset where everything in life should be fair and equal. I enjoy watching mountain biking because everyone has different bikes, different components, setups, riding styles, etc. etc. nothing is equal and that's what makes mountain biking so rad no?

@torj: hmm so what about the 65ish Elite Men that went down before the weather turned? What do you do with those runs? Throw them out?

So cancel the race and what? Make all the Junior men, Elite woman, and Elite men that were able to go down in fair weather do another run? This is mountain biking, if you want fair weather and rain stoppages, watch Baseball IMO

They did start right after the woman, but live coverage doesn't show all 100+ men elite racers...
