On one 456 carbon 18" custom lightning paintjob

$850 GBP
Hi all The time has come for me to sell my beloved hardtail. I've owned this for a couple of years, and it's been amazing, I built it up to be a no nonsense all day bike, capable of riding pretty much anything, anywhere, without worrying about breaking it, getting punctures but still able to carry it when the situation arises! So, first things first, It's an 18" Carbon 456, but with a unique custom lightning paintjob. This was done by one-one, and I bought the frame brand new from them. It's had a couple of years of use, so has the odd chip in the paint, the worst one being on the top tube where the handlebars spun round when I fell off on some ice. The bike has a set of 2011 tapered steerer Rockshox Revelation RLT dual Air forks with a 15mm bolt through. the poploc cable could probably do with replacing, but I never really used it, I only put it on in case I wanted to lock out the forks. Wheels are a set of superstar switch hubs on some chocolate brown spank subrosa rims. These have a few paint chips missing, and the odd dent, most of which are more obvious because the paint chips off when you ding the rim. All the dings have been straightened out, and now the bike runs tubeless perfectly with some stans strips and a bit of fluid, which is how it is right now, been tubeless for about 18months with no issues whatsoever. Rear is also running a superstar 9mm conversion from QR, to make the bike stiffer and handle better It's running a 1x9 setup at the moment, with a 34 tooth front ring (single ring specific chainring) on slx cranks, and an X7 rear mech (nice and cheap to replace!) Brakes are a Deore / SLX combo, relatively old, but work fine, never have any issues with them - they also have plenty of length of hose, as I hate cutting them down! It's got a KS i950 (i think) seatpost, not a remote one, works great, it's not been used that much as it was a warranty replacement for one which went wobbly. It's got a pretty much unused Fizik saddle, which came off my new bike. I'm only selling the bike because I had a few too many drinks, and bought a TT bike off ebay, and so this is the bike I use least and so the one I could justify keeping the least. Any questions let me know. I already have plenty of bikes, so don't want to swap or trade, and I don't want to split either. Cheers Neil *Now on eBay, with lots more pictures http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110987641898 *
