I have a brand new, never ridden Fox Float X2 off my Ibis Ripmo V2S. I purchased the frame brand new from Jenson last year and finally got around to building it up with custom parts. Part of that build meant replacing the rear shock. I had some injuries and never road this Float X2 before it was replaced. I'm selling my 2021 Ripley V4 in order to fund a longer travel bike build. Besides some blemishes in the ride-wrap and a couple of 1-2mm paint chips, this bike is in great condition both physically and mechanically. The Ripley is as great of an all-around trail bike as the reviews make it out to be and I've had a lot of fun riding this bike. I recommend checking out some written and/or video reviews of this bike to see for yourself. TLDR is it's an efficient climber with lots of traction both up and downhill. Right now, it's built up around 29 pounds but I've seen them as light as 25. I've done both chunky rides in Truckee and 35 mile XC races and this bike has handled it all really well. After 5-10 rides on the trainer, my wife decided she needed a slightly larger size. These were never worn outside and come with a brand new Delta Cleats. The master cylinder of the rear brake decided to have the threading of bleed port strip so now the bleed port screw spins freely and there is no seal. Hayes will have new master cylinders in stock mid-December, but I'd rather just sell the set as-is. The rear caliper works great and has 50% life on the metallic pads (Sintered T100) pads. The front brake works perfectly, might need a bleed depending on how hard you ride. 50% life on front semi-metallic pads (T106). The DOT bleed kit ($80 MSRP) is included but comes without DOT 5.1 fluid. Each caliper will come with a 3D printed bleed block and 180mm post mount adapters. I'll pay for shipping via USPS within the US, and split it with any Canadian buyers.
