5 Things We Learned at Snowshoe XC World Cup 2019
@Veloscente: He is in second by 3 seconds in the Tour of Britain (before today's TT stage) so he is showing he can hang at least on this shorter stage race. He is going against some pretty big names too and even has a stage win, but it does show he can't just go in there and beat everyone like he did in XCC this year. I fully agree with the bigger one-day classics and that he will really have to focus to change to be a GC rider. That said, I think he can do it, if it is what he ultimately wants to do.

5 Things We Learned at Snowshoe XC World Cup 2019
I wish he would stick to XC too, but my guess is after the olympics, especially if he wins a gold medal, he will join a road team in 2023 and focus on trying to win a grand tour.

@formula411: Currently yes, but in the future not necessarily. Make the tire out of something other than rubber, maybe some material not created yet, take air out of the equation and rely on some type of latice structure to give consistent feel all the time and no risk of punctures.

With how far bike technology has come it really sucks that keeping air in the tires, while keeping weight down, still hasn't been figured out yet. I guess many riders took the gamble to go with very light weight tire setups with how many punctures there were.

May have been easy in that it wasn't that technical but the looks on the riders' faces as they finished showed it was anything but easy.

Course Preview: Crisp and Clean - Snowshoe XC World Cup 2019
This is not the type of course to help XC become more popular here. They have a beast of a DH track and then this "dirt roadie" course. OK that might be a little harsh but I would have loved to see a more technical track to showcase to people here in the states that XC courses are changing and entice more support so there could be more XC races here in the future. Hope I'm wrong and the speed of the race will help it standout.

First Ride: Trek's New Supercaliber XC Race Bike
I wonder if Trek would allow it? In my experience a lot of companies are pretty tight lipped about their design process. I'm even kinda surprised they showed so many "failed" frames. Maybe they did that to show they put a whole ton of time and effort into getting the best possibe design. Also wondering if we will see knock-offs of those "failed" frames in the near future too.
