Video: Survival Of The Fastest - Pinkbike Academy Season 2 EP 4
@Lokirides: Same. Full respect for holding hard and digging deep. Really impressive. Shows how hard FTP tests are to do well as what Kyra did in this episode reflects solid FTP. I think that course was deviously nasty. The 8-10minute climb is just about doable as a one off at or close to VO2max but then a short recovery and do it again twice - that's a brutal intervals session.

There was a super vets category as well. Any podium photo? I had a good go at matching those young pups (vets)

Here's a New Standard We Should Get Behind - Taipei Cycle Show 2018
The slots should not be vertical. They should be angled slightly off vertical. Referenced against vertical laser etched lines or against opposing slanted lines, the visible bit of line would move up/down in each slot and be very accurate by the time you height match the visible bit. You can even do it with scribing your own lines: flip the stem to scribe, then right way up to align. The slots are very wide for a scribe line and appear to be totally vertical. If not slanted, you don't need two slots. Just sayin'.

Spartan vs Spartan: Devinci Enduro Team Bike Checks
Love seeing this. Have progressed from an alloy to carbon Spartan this year. Also large to XL. Running a 150 dropper I have had 20mm trimmed from the seat tube of the carbon XL so I have XL reach and large frame seat position. Stem has come down from 75mm with rise to 60mm flat. Burgtec RideWide 800bars. 6'2" 185lbs Lyrik 170 three spacers. 19%sag Vivid Air zero spacers. 32% sag 2FO Spartan is such a solid no-nonsense bike. Never lets me down.

EWS Race Tech: Jared Graves' New Specialized Tires
I was going to get a 650B because it was cool, cutting edge and metric then the industry lost its confidence, backed away from the idea and gave us 27.5. Meh. Kirk Pacenti must be sick to his bones after all that time and effort. Can't wait to fit a metric shock to transform my old bike.
