CycleOps Mag Indoor Trainer + climbing block

$140 CAD
Maintain and develop your fitness over the winter with five levels of magnetic resistance. Includes a CycleOps climbing block, the stablest and most customizable wheel block on the market, and a steel quick release trainer skewer. - For less than the price of winter riding gear you can train inside where it's warm and dry. - Want to train your legs for hills? Magnetic trainers are way better than fluid trainers when it comes to simulating climbing. - Five levels of adjustable magnetic resistance. The hardest setting tops out at just over 900W, confirmed by my Powertap, making it one of the strongest magnetic trainers on the market. - Folds up for easy storage and transport. Take it to spin class, take it to races, tuck it neatly under your bed in the summer months. - Compatible with Zwift, Trainerroad, Cycleops Virtual Training, Tour De Giro and other software with virtual power calculation. - Serviced at the beginning and middle of every training season. Runs like new. - "Dumb" trainers are a smarter investment compared to smart trainers, which need regular maintenance and costly replacement parts. Be smart and buy a dumb trainer. PLEASE NOTE. The Kijiji-Cops would like me to make it explicit that "connecting" this trainer to Zwift requires an ANT+ or Bluetooth speed/cadence sensor & receiver which supports the protocol transmitted by your sensor, both of which are NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SALE and are SOLD SEPARATELY by your local bike shop or online retailer. Even if you already own or purchase these items there is no way for this trainer to automatically adjust resistance in the same fashion as the Wahoo Kickr and other smart trainers. If anything about this confuses you just know that there's a reason why even used smart trainers sell for nearly $2000 compared to the paltry $140 that I'm asking. Pick up in Caledon or Orangeville. I will not deliver it to you or meet you halfway. Lowballers will be ignored. Answers to questions people keep asking me about this trainer: - The model of the resistance unit is #9901 (Mag "classic") and the model of the base is #16680 / #CYB2009. - No, this trainer is not leaking because magnetic trainers don't have fluid in their resistance units. - No, there's nothing wrong with this trainer. Actually, I've performed routine maintence on it twice a season for as long as I've owned it and it runs like new. Maintenance involves retightening the bolts, spraying a bit of silicone lube into the roller axle and then wiping the roller down with some rubbing alcohol. You can pay a shop to do this for $30-$40, or do it yourself. - How hard is the resistance? If you're world-class TT specialist who uses a 58t big ring, not so hard. If you're a trained amateur racer, settings 4 and 5 will make you hurt. If you're an recreational cyclist looking to train for something like the Ride to Conquer Cancer or plan to use this at spin classes, the lower settings will challenge you quite nicely. Similar to Kurt Kinetic Magnetic, Tacx, Elite Chrono and others
