Kevin Sweeney's Got Some Lines at Highland Mountain - Video
It would be greatly appreciated if you provided a specific example within the video. But nonetheless, with the video I was not trying to film in a way that every other bike video is filmed. The video contains a more unique style of filming than is seen in most videos and the tight filming is intentional. For example, at 1:51 the tight on rider shot is used to express the 1 foot can on the downhill bike. Moreover, at 1:30 the angle at which I focus solely on the athletes head is used to put on a focus on the bright goggles from Vibe Optics which is an up and coming East Coast company that deserves exposure. Finally, the whole "close up" filming style is being more consistently used by filmmakers to the likes of Nic Genovese and Rupert Walker who produce the best bike content on the internet. Take the most recent RAW 100 V3 for example, or the Troy Bronson "In the Know" edit for Sram. Within those videos there are many cases of wider shots cutting to very tight shots directly on Brandon or Troy, and in some cases just tight shots being used. Anyhow, next time you see an edit like this (of which there are two more coming with Reed Boggs and Swiss Chris) you will know who filmed it ;)
