Adding this seatpost is by far the most ride-changing upgrade I have ever made to any bike I have owned. It changes everything. Is is so nice to have the seat up when climbing and then being able to drop it on downhill sections. Words cannot describe how much more fun it is to bomb down a hill with the seat completely out of the way. When I first got it, I would only move the seat from full up to full down when cresting a hill. Now I find that I use it all the time to adjust my riding position to match whatever the trail conditions are. I have discovered that I ride 75% of the time with it about 1.5 inches from fully extended. That extra inch and 1/2 really does come in handy when tackling those long uphill climbs.

The only flex I feel is the dampening affect when rolling over washboards, and no "oh sh*t" moments...yet.
