- My first FS bike; 2011 Jamis Dakar XC. - Tektro IO brakes work great with the Alivio M430 drivetrain. Alivio has jumped up in quality to previous years. - Geax Mezcal tires are extremely fast rollers with decent grip on hardpack. - Rear shock is fully functional and is holding up my weight pretty good. - Grips are comfy, triggers are snappy, 2 finger levers are somewhat responsive, the 2 piece pedals are livable, saddle's gel is nice on the tush - RST GILA PRO TnL forks are terrible, only thing that throws off the bike to epic proportions. - Looking to get some white Marzocchi's in the near future. - All in all, can feel the quality in the old school design frame; I got my moneys worth on this complete at $650 CDN BNIB. - Future upgrades will include: Tektro carbon brake levers, front derailleur, flat pedals, fat grippy tires with lighter DWC rims
