It’s time to pass along this beautiful vintage 1986 Ritchey Ascent, which has primarily been used for short city rides (1000km in 40 years!). With its high-quality 4130 chromoly frame, upgraded components, and legendary Ritchey craftsmanship, this classic mountain bike is both a piece of cycling history and a genuinely enjoyable retro ride. The bike would be an excellent addition to a vintage mountain-bike collection. As expected with a bicycle of this age, it shows signs of use and age, but those details contribute to its authentic character and period-correct appeal.
