Jun 14, 2011Ellsworth Moment
$1199 GBPI am selling my lovely Ellsworth Moment because 2 children has meant no more time for riding (sob, sob)!!! I only bought the frame last year and built it up especially for a trip to the Alps. I genuinely haven’t even used the bike since then (baby no 2 has since arrived), so it has only had 5 days use.
The forks, stem, seat clamp, handle bars, cables and hoses were brand new June 2010. The frame is in excellent condition; there are only a few marks from the usual amount of riding/cable rub. All pivots and threads are in good condition. The seat post has been scratched from where it has been raised and lowered.
The bike is a great All Mountain rig, great for medium to heavy duty freeride or XC. The frame alone originally retailed at £2,200 and the bike cost in the region of £3.5k to build.
The bike is 15’’ but is a quite a ‘big’ small, if you see what I mean. I am 5’5’’ and I would say that this bike would really suit those who are 5’6’’ plus (it was slightly too big for me).
