$400 CADThis jetfighter silver, made in USA mountain bike celebrates its 30th birthday this year. It's been well maintained and stored inside for its whole life. It's original owner was a man with back injury who cranked out miles on the blacktop.
I received the bike with fenders and mismatched length 105 crankset. Now it rolls with near period correct Deore LX cranks. IDK if the Selle Italia saddle and Ritchey seatpost are original, but they are the right age.
While looking at the pictures, please note the abundance of CODA hardware this bike came with. Handlebar and grips, calipers, original brake pads and seatpost clamp all say CODA. Also note the wear lines across the shifter windows. The original owner certainly ran up and down the gears a lot. But bike still has its original brake pads!
This 27 lb time capsule is a joy to ride. Super light and responsive. The vintage Nimbus3 tires still hold air and roll smoothly. For whatever reason, it has no 'Beast of the East' sticker. It's an 18" frame, which isn't my size. I would consider taking a similar 20"frame as partial trade
Bike is located north of Edmonton, Alberta. Delivery may be available for a patient Albertan. Viewing available at BikeSwap Edmonton on May 11.
