Going too fast in the slow section of crank it up, came into a bump fully compressed from the roller before, ejected like a pogo stick off the trail and down the bank. Walked away with scratches and bruises and a torn rotator cuff. follow me in instagram @nickvanberkel Jukin Media Verified (Original) * For licensing / permission to use: Contact - licensing(at)jukinmediadotcom

Classic Pemberton Trails with Max Horner

Pemberton has a lot of fast climbs and blazing descents, and just as many talented mountain bikers to rip them up. But not every ride in Pemberton is about smashing KOMs. Some trails, like Wild Bill, are more about the adventure with long, scorching climbs, wrong turns, hike-a-bikes, and bushwhacking aplenty. Oh, and the 1000m descents of eye-watering singletrack are pretty good too!

Early in Spring 2015 we headed down to Arizona for a few days of desert overland bikepacking to escape the Pacific Northwest winter and test our new Sherpa bike. Beginning on a high plateau, the Black Canyon Trail winds through rolling grasslands before descending into a landscape of Saguaros, Chollas, and other Sonoran Desert flora.
