there was not a single moment of that which wasn't mad shredding and huck-age

Remy's legit, but this dude is 2x New Zealand National Champ and a consistent Top-20 finisher at World Cup's. Different speed.

WOW. At 40, I am trying to decide whether to be inspired or completely demoralized by this vid. If this is mountain biking, then what the hell do I do?!? Suck, I guess....

Phuck that dude! I'll be 48 next month. I started riding 4 years ago and inspite of age (and perhaps reason), I go bigger and bigger ever year as just natural progression.
Yeah, perhaps I suck, but I suck a lot less then I did 4 years ago.
Maybe we both suck, but charge right up to that point of being uncomfortable and you'll suck less and less every ride.

@BDKR How do you know my motto...
I so enjoy even the smallest progression and even if I have to push for it a whole year...

@MrEtnie Yeah man! My old lady is 52 and I've seen progression in her riding too. Even over the last couple of rides. She doesn't charge to learn stuff and risk getting hurt, but I've noticed that she's now starting to read and ride trails in a more creative manner.

@BDKR Yeah, true. That is simply the best feeling. Pausing for a moment and realizing: You have just done this amazing trail with your lady following you down and just a few years back you labelled kids going down that trail crazy!
So whenever I see videos like this here I think of the crazy kids and then it actually inspires me a lot (although I know, I will probably never ride THAT fast)...

I've been on and off this website since 2008, and that was easily the most savage riding I've seen posted on here. Maybe it's the lack of intense editing, maybe it's just the fact that all the shots are at a 'bystander' perspective. Either way, I've got a new favorite video..... at a dream destination of mine, nonetheless!
