Come Ride with Alberta 66 Mountain Bikers
I can attest Jeff and Laura already spend more volunteer hours than most at our trail associations' maintence/build days. And are big encouragers/organizers/bringers of extra people too.

Interview: Manon Carpenter - 2014 DH World Champion
Correction, PERSONALLY I think they should be given buckets and buckets of cash because I love the DH girls, and I would like to see them everywhere. But I understand why the industry and race organizers currently don't prioritize this... Come on industry, Gatto has to work in a cafe, Buchar I think works at a bike shop, Nicole is a Kines or physio or something of that sort, Hannah has spoken about how hard it was to train while working full time etc... and these are the top elite women here, at least help them pay their rent.

I get that there is more competition on the men's side and they are more exciting so they get paid more. But it would be nice to at least have 10-20 girls that get enough sponsorship so they can race and train full time vs. having to work in the off season and fit in training when they can. I'm not saying they should get buckets of cash but at least something to live off of. You'd see a lot of improvement on the women's side if they could focus year round!
