Pinkbike Poll: What Type of Mountain Biking Do You Do the Most?
unless he has a Bosch or Pinion motor. Those two have proven to be extremely reliable. But be assured: I started on amish bikes and still own two MTBs next to my EMTB.

Pinkbike Poll: What Type of Mountain Biking Do You Do the Most?
Am I the only one who doesn't like to ride park? I have been to several parks in three different countries and they all get old pretty fast, everything repetitive. Tech trails, scouting here and there, out there with a friend or two at max, no rowdy crowds, no lift-lines, no hassle ... on a bike somewhere in the 140 to 160 mm range. I just like that better - that's mountainbiking for me

Discussion: The UCI Hasn't Banned 32" Wheels Yet, Should They?
Let's see this from the opposite end: tall riders will LOVE 32" wheels and I (6'5") can't wait for a 32/29 trail-bike. Why do tall riders have to run the same, small stuff that is basically optimized for small people? And WHY does cycling need to be fair to people of all sizes? Gymnasts are extremely short, allowing for faster rotation, long distance runners are on the short and lean side, rowing favorizes tall and bulky ... horses for courses. Tall riders on 32" wheels will be faster (without doping) on flat and downhill segments, light riders will win every climb. The UCI hasn't done a lot of good to MTB so far - and I fear they will continue in that direction
